Insomnia - priority in the therapeutic process

 

This training program is dedicated to fellow psychologists, those who choose every day to accompany their clients on the road to healing, to regaining and strengthening mental health.

 

Address insomnia as an emergency in psychotherapy. Whether you are working on depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, self-image, or a personality disorder, check the quality of the client's sleep, and if insomnia is present, begin intervention with it. As long as the client suffers from insomnia, they are forced to live solely in survival mode, stuck in the need to conserve what little energy they have.

 

Combat insomnia and optimize energy levels, which will enable the client to activate the resources at his/her disposal and harness them in the therapeutic process. Gradually, he/she will eliminate mental resistance and accept the need for change, which he/she will assume and support, unblocking and training the mind.

Objectives of the training program

 

The participant forms and crystallizes the following competencies:

  •   identifying the causes of insomnia;
  •   building the therapeutic plan and the related personalized protocol;
  •   building or rebuilding the circadian rhythm;
  •   identifying and eliminating resistances that prevent or hinder the process of change;
  •   identifying and activating personal resources;
  •   identifying limiting beliefs, maladaptive thoughts, and cognitive restructuring;
  •   managing emotions through day hygiene and pre-sleep hygiene;
  •   behavioral modeling.

How to organize

 

The program takes place online via the Zoom platform.

Timetable:

  •   18.06.2024: from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The program is structured over 10 sessions so that everything learned, trained, and applied in the training is replicated in the practice.
